Private Beekeeping Experience
An all ages private Bee Experience for up to 8 people, intended for bee curious people with no prior beekeeping experience. Enjoy 2 hours with Rainy Day Bees. We'll start with a 30 minute discussion about honey bees and the urban environment, including basic biology and threats to survival. After that we'll all suit up (suits provided by Rainy Day Bees) and get into the hives! We'll taste some honey at the end, and you'll go home with a mini bear.
We'll send you a digital or physical gift certificate to be redeemed during the active beekeeping season (May through September). Experiences generally need to be scheduled at least 2 weeks in advance.
Please specify in a note during checkout whether you would like physical or digital gift certificate delivery. Physical gift certificates will be mailed to your provided billing address unless otherwise requested.
We are a family-run business bringing you ultra local honey that is raw and unfiltered. Our hives are located throughout the Puget Sound region.
When there's a honey we need for you that we can't produce ourselves, we source it directly from other responsible local beekeepers.
